The Whisky Vault Trade team brings together decades of hands-on experience across every corner of the drinks world. We understand the unique needs and challenges of the on-trade because we’ve lived them from managing busy bars and curating spirits lists to representing global brands and educating trade professionals.
Our departments account management, buying, marketing, and sales are all staffed by people who have worked directly in hospitality and brand development. This real-world expertise is strengthened by ongoing accredited training and industry education, ensuring that every member of our team continues to grow and deliver the highest standards of service and insight.
Hazel Glen
Sales Director
Since joining Whiskey Vault in 2014, Hazel Glen has been a driving force behind our growth and reputation within the drinks industry. With a background in bartending and brand development, she has built her career from managing some of our most prestigious hotel and restaurant accounts to leading the sales team and stepping into the role of Sales Director in 2024.
Known for her hands-on approach and deep understanding of the trade, Hazel brings energy, strategy, and genuine passion to every partnership. After hours, you’ll find her enjoying a perfectly balanced Manhattan ideally, perched at a great bar.
Richard Lace
Senior Account manager
Richard brings a wealth of hospitality and spirits expertise to The Whisky Vault Trade, having worked across award-winning cocktail venues, Michelin-starred hotel restaurants, and renowned whisky bars. His deep understanding of both service and spirits allows him to forge strong, lasting partnerships with clients across the trade.
Known for his hands-on approach, Richard provides tailored, practical solutions that help venues grow and elevate their guest experience. A true advocate for craftsmanship and quality, he’s especially passionate about dark spirits and never misses a chance to share that passion with others
Jane Gray
marketing/Public Relations
With a strong foundation in wine and a growing passion for fine spirits, Josie joined Team in 2022 to oversee our central London accounts. Her deep understanding of flavour and hospitality makes her an invaluable partner to the venues she supports.
Drawing on her Irish heritage, Josie has developed a special fondness for Armagnac and Irish whiskey, and she loves bringing creativity into the glass. When she’s not visiting clients or exploring new spirits, she’s often at home experimenting with cocktails — her current favourite: a Banana Whisky Highball.
Rory Wood
Customer Support/PR assistant
With a strong foundation in hospitality and events, Rory brings creativity and energy to his role in PR and marketing at Whisky Vault. His hands-on experience across the drinks industry gives him a unique understanding of how to tell compelling brand stories and connect with both trade partners and consumers.
A fan of a well-crafted Penicillin or a classic Martini, Rory believes that the perfect drink deserves the perfect setting ideally enjoyed to a great soundtrack on a quality sound system. His passion for music, mixology, and storytelling helps shape the voice and vision of The Whisky Exchange Trade
